Dr. Drew Anderson, Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Drew Anderson was born in Charleston, South Carolina. At age three, his family moved to Tazewell, Tennessee (60 miles north of Knoxville). Dr. Drew first moved to Louisville in August of 2000 and attended Jefferson Community College and later the University of Louisville in order to study pre-pharmacy. While in school, he worked nights for UPS during the week and Hillview Wal-mart Pharmacy during the weekends. After three years at UPS, he left and began working for Norton Suburban Hospital as a pharmacy technician. Dr. Drew knew he always wanted to work in the healthcare field and he wanted to help people live happy healthy lives. During his senior year, Dr. Drew was introduced to chiropractic by a close friend who had remarkable results with chiropractic care. After researching chiropractic and how chiropractic care can have a profound impact on staying healthy, he decided that he wanted to become a chiropractor.

In July of 2004, Dr. Drew left Louisville to attend Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. During his first year at Sherman College, he met his wife, Nicole. During his last year at Sherman College, he and Nicole welcomed into the world their daughter, Jaylin. After four years of rigorous academics, National Board exams, state board exams, and hundreds of hours in clinical rotations seeing patients, Dr. Drew graduated and moved his family to Pawleys Island, South Carolina. He worked as an associate in Georgetown, South Carolina during his first year after graduation. Dr. Drew always had plans of returning to Louisville and after visiting family in Louisville, his wife fell in love with the area and the wonderful people.

Dr. Drew returned to Louisville in August of 2008 and is committed to educating and serving the community through chiropractic care. Dr. Drew has been involved in the community that he serves by participating in various civic organizations. He frequently visits local schools during career days and teaches on topics such as backpack safety and posture. Dr. Drew also visits local businesses and teaches proper ergonomics to prevent work related accidents and overuse injuries. He regularly conducts health fairs and spinal screenings in order to educate the community on the benefits of chiropractic care.
